Who is Sam Brown? In the early 1920s, my grandfather, Samuel
Mastrangelo Sr., started a Big Band orchestra that played in
local clubs in Atlantic City, N.J. He quickly changed its
name to "The Sam Brown Orchestra" to be more memorable.
From that day forward, everyone who lived in
our small rural town called my grandfather Sam Brown. He
held many public offices, and eventually became Sheriff of
Atlantic County, N.J. As a kid, I always remember being in a
local diner or on the street with him and someone was sure
to yell out: Hey Sam Brown! My grandfather was a very strong
and successful man. He passed away in April of 2000 at the
age of 94 years old. When my father was born
in 1928 as Samuel Dominic Mastrangelo, Jr., the nickname
transferred. Throughout high school, in the war, in town,
and in his long career as a mathematics teacher, everyone
called my Dad Sam Brown.
My father has been the single greatest
influence in my life. I adored him. My personal drive,
ambition and success are based on the confidence he had
given me to always be a leader, believe in myself and take a
risk. He passed away in June of 2004 and was very proud of
Sam Brown Inc.
The name Sam Brown served these great men
well throughout their lives and now is doing the same for
me. I am so proud that for more than 10 years, Sam Brown has
built the best team and helps many leading healthcare
companies become more memorable.
Please call me directly at 610-353-4545 to
discuss how we can do the same for you. I am proud to be Sam
Brown. Laura (Mastrangelo) Liotta
